[ Malik isn't entirely sure where to find Otome post-trial, but he makes the logical guess that she's a nurse, or nurse-adjacent so maybe... health office? He probably should have gone there first, but he also was nervous about running into anyone else on the way there.

So, Hi, Otome! Malik is here, and much less upset than before, but still not in great spirits (but who would be at a time like this). ]

Am I interrupting anything?

[ She sure is methodically organizing bandaids-- and blinking, glancing over her shoulder as he speaks up. After a pause, she offers him a warm smile. ]

Not anything I would mind being interrupted for. What can I do for you?

Can you not tell anyone what you saw? When you... checked...

[ He respects that she did so quickly but he has to make sure. ]

... Ah.

[ Realization dawns and then Otome nods. ]

There's something called doctor-patient confidentiality. While you may not technically be a patient of mine, that could have been construed as an examination. As such, anything I see and note stays between us and only us.

Thank you. I'm not supposed to show just anybody, not even a doctor. I suspect that if this continues, you will have to be the person to examine me. I can't have everybody here knowing about it.

[ New week, new tasks! It's not like Malik is invested or anything, but. Look. He does have a vested interest in... other things. Otome has proven that she's trustworthy insofar, and given the sensitive nature of some of these task options, well. It only makes sense to seek her out. So that's what he is doing. Where are they? No idea, but he's gonna find her. ]

If you aren't too busy, I'd like to speak with you for a moment.

[ She just feels curious, not necessarily concerned. ]

[ curiosity he can deal with. he's not dealing with really any emotions at all-- he's just a void. ]

...I suppose it depends on what you mean by that.

Because my leg hurts pretty bad.

Week 7, Saturday

[ Hi, Malik!! Otome is, of course, coming to check on him because she loves him and he has to deal with that now.

She's still moving a bit gingerly but. It's fine. ]

It's finally over... almost.

[ malik is feeling pretty good!! he got to unload his feelings and also swiped some wine when iris wasn't looking after destroying nona, so he's uh.

yeah. feeling good!! ]

Almost... I can't believe it's finally here. I'm used to waiting a long time, but this has felt like a very long two months.
